Aloha!

One of my favorite things about being a designer is working on projects that become tangible items. I loved working on this project for Aloha Patch because it required me to create 3-D mockups of the pouch design to show to my client in order to get a feel for what the final product would look like. This pouch packaging is 4.82″w x 6.24″h with a zipper seal and hang hole. It was important to my client to have a photo of nature on the front that was colorful and engaging. We selected a sunrise photo because we felt that it met those requirements as well as the “new day” concept that we had discussed when talking about the new research and CBD becoming more widely accepted in society as people are trying to turn to more holistic ways of healing. When designing the package we also thought about the retailer hanging the product up in their stores. While we wanted the design to look different on the back we still wanted some information that spoke to what the product was incase the retailer hung them up backwards.
